Christchurch Armageddon was so much fun, mostly due to all the awesome people there! I had such a blast hanging out with everyone.

The cosplay games were awesome (thanks to Jen, Angie, Jess, and to all the others that organised it!). It was also fun going out to lunch with such a huge group of people (more people joined us in taking over the Japanese restaurant the second day).

And all the cosplayers! It was so awesome to see so many even though Chchgeddon is small in comparison to the others. (And I have to say I was stoked to see IcyRose as Death the Kid! Definitely a highlight ) I only wish I got more photos of them all.

And on Sunday was the competition, so I wore my finished Ciel costume. I was so happy with the warm reception it received :3 Lol it was another awkward costume, but even with the metal bustle cage it was still more comfortable than Cain's wings And man winning Best in Show was such an awesome feeling. Congrats to all the other winners, you all did amazing!

Other cool stuff: I have a little camera now! Well my family does lol. My mum bought it during the saturday of Chchgeddon, handy so I could take pics on sun, instead of just prodding other people to take pics

And I have a laptop now! My mum bought the telstra clear vouchers I won in the cosplay comp off of me, so that money went towards the laptop. It's an hp worth $2200, but we managed to make a deal at one of the stores and got it for an amazing $1680, as well as a $20 discount on a bag for it!

Now to catch up on Uni work! /facepalm/

So we have like 5 removable disk drives on our main computer. But I swear every time I go to finally post some pics up, the ONE drive the majority of my photos are on DISAPPEARS. I don't know if my brother/dad has taken it for something, or if it's just unplugged, because damned if I know what it looks like.

The last time this happened, my dad must have thought I'd cracked, what with me flailing around the house yelling "where's I gone?" (The disk is labelled as I drive).

I seriously need to learn a bit more about computers, or at least pay attention to our home setup.

In other (related) news, I'm going to get a laptop soon! I can't wait. I've been using my mum's old one so I can work on assignments in my room in the quiet, but it has a problem with the power plug port thing, so it keeps turning off. I don't like using my mum's new one because it's TINY and so hard to type on.

And once I get the laptop, I can store all my photos in one, easy to remember place!

So after cleaning up at home (well....the lounge and downstairs hallway at least), and starting to put up Christmas decorations (OMG SANTA OVERLOAD! SAVE MEEEEEEEEEEE), I have decided to finally organise to put up some photos and catch up on commenting on pics!

And get an avatar LOL. This task may take a while, as, well I suck (so does my computer!), and also I am still slave labour for my mum (I bitch because I love, honestly). But it is being worked on none the less!

Thanks to vefalasiel (I dunno how to link. I swear I did it once, but obviously that was a fluke) for sending me pics so I can put them up!

I am so going to put the pics up of the other things I've made soon! I just have to find them. And I'm seriously dreading asking my dad (it's his camera) coz I just KNOW he's gonna take the oppourtunity to - once AGAIN - try to force lessons on how to use it on me. I love him dearly but I'd gouge out an eyeball before consenting. (It's the same with him telling me about how the computer works. Truly it's like getting a rocket scientist trying to teach his trainee who just happens to be a rock, and a sedimentary one at that).

So yea! It will happen eventually!
